You’re invited to Avon Community Day to be held August 23, 2014, from 5:00pm – 8:30pm.  Admission is $5.00.  The event will be held at the Avon High School Hendricks Regional Health Stadium, 7575 East CR 150 South, Avon, and will feature: Multi-Class Car Show, a variety of cuisine available to purchase from vendors of the Indy Food Truck alliance, U.S. Army Mass Swear-In, Local Vendors, Eagle Scouts & Gold Scouts, Avon Aerial Orioles, Avon Marching Black & Gold, 50/50 Raffle, Bounce House & More! Download the official flyer here.

WANTED:  Car Show Entrants to take part of Avon Marching Black & Gold’s 2nd Annual Community Day Car Show!

Avon Band Boosters is excited to host the 2nd Annual Avon Marching Black & Gold Car Show. The Car Show will run in conjunction with AMB&G’s Annual Community Day on August 23, 2014 from 4:00pm – 8:30pm. The show will be a seven class show with awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each class, as well an “Overall People’s Choice” award. The classes are: Antique, Classic, Prestige, Turner, Rat/Hot Rod, Motorcycle and Special Interest. At this time the Boosters are actively seeking car show participants. Entry fee of $20 includes admission for owner/driver of vehicle to the Community Day events. All pre-registered participants will receive a Goodie Bag and Dash Plaque. Deadline for entry is August 8th (Registration forms accepted after August 8th up to day of show, but are not guaranteed a goodie bag or dash plaque).
