New Website Design Coming Soon! Soon you'll be seeing a new look to the Avon Band website, so we appreciate your patience as we work on this exciting project!
We need everybody's help. It takes all of us with one goal - to help our kids be in the best band program the staff, school and we as parents can provide and support, and with less funding, with less funding, higher band fees. With higher band fees - less students in band, less student in band... well you know the rest... we have more than 200 kids in the band, if one family member (parents, grandparents, older siblings, etc.) or family friend of each band kid volunteers for at least one shift, we will have a very successful concession season. If you can only volunteer a portion of a shift, do sign up for the shift and just let us know what time you can be there. We encourage you to please register and use TRS, this is the best way to track if we have coverage for each event. Please visit the website to register. Thanks!
The Avon High School Band Family would like to thank Scott McCormick for his decades of dedication to music education as President and CEO of Bands of America and Music for All and wish him luck in the next chapter of his journey. The Marching Black and Gold look forward to another exciting fall and many years of Positively Life Changing Experiences at both Bands of America and Indiana State School Music Association events.
