The Avon High School Band department and the Marching Black & Gold Band Boosters would like to invite you to our 12th annual Avon Marching Band Invitational on:
Saturday, September 22, 2012
Avon High School Stadium (7575 East 150 South, Avon)
4:00pm – 10:30pm
Cost $6/person and $4/preschool and seniors
We will be using the standard ISSMA classifications of Class A, B, C, and D. Our excellent judging panel will be selected from the Independent Judges pool. We take great strides to fly in the best nationally renowned Judges available for our invitational. You will receive a recording from each judge and we provide a DVD of your performance.
Cash awards of $500.00 for 1st, $250.00 for 2nd and $100.00 for 3rd place will be presented. In addition there will be trophies for the best percussion, auxiliary, music, visual, general effect and drum majors.
The entry fee for this year’s contest is $200.00 per band. Please enclose this with your entry form and band information sheet. This fee is non-refundable. The first 30 bands to reply will be accepted. We would appreciate receiving your entry information and fee as soon as possible. Deadline is September 7, 2012.
