On Saturday, September 18, the Avon Marching Black & Gold traveled to Plainfield, Indiana to compete in the Plainfield Band Invitational. The band performed their 2010 production “Iconoclash” and received awards for Best Percussion, Best Auxiliary, Best Music, Best Visual, and Best General Effect. Avon also received the award for first place in class ‘A’. Congratulations to all participating bands!
