The Avon Marching Black and Gold won its 17th State Championship and it’s 5th Grand National title during the 2024 marching band season.
Avon secured the National Title after competing with over 100 bands from across the county over the course of 3 days of competition. On finals night, the Marching Black and Gold earned a school of 97.300 and earned the highest achievement awards for Outstanding Visual, Outstanding Music, and Outstanding General Effect.
