Who We Are
The Avon Marching Black and Gold is the largest and most visible ensemble of the Avon Band program. The Avon Marching Black and Gold performs at the highest level of competition available to high school band students and is annually recognized as one of the top high school marching bands in the country.

Details
The Avon Marching Black and Gold allows students their first experience in an ensemble and installs the fundamentals of the “Avon Way.”
Any student can be a part of the Avon Marching Black and Gold and EVERYONE finds a place to take part. There are no auditions. There is a fee to join. Ensemble meets from mid-May to mid-November each year. Marching Band rehearsals begin in the middle of May.
